一、光闡坊蓮誓は、若松尼公勝如禪尼（しょうにょぜんに）、越中利波郡（となみぐん）内 山中（やまなか）に土山（どやま）という所に坊を立て、門徒中参會しける所有りけ るに、光闡坊を勝如よひ下て、此所にすませしめ給ふを、加賀國江沼郡の門徒中、土 山は山中霧深き所なれはとて、蓮如上人に申のほせ、山田と云う所浦山かけたる所候 間、光闡坊を置き申す度なと申し候しかは、とも角もとの仰ありしまゝ、山田に坊を 立て居申侍る事也、此も享禄の乱に焼きにけり、 又同じく郡内菅生という所に蓮誓の遊山所と號して一坊たてたり、此在所の入道に願 正とうへる名誉の入道あり、此れ壹人の興行によりて立たる處也、此も同年に焼にけ り、此は結構成坊成りき、 又同郡内山中に九谷という所に坊あり、近き山々（さんざん）にも面白深山也、高山 （衍　つまり間違い) 水精の山あり、享禄のの乱の年貳拾个（二十ヶ）年はかりありしと覺ゆ、此も蓮 誓の坊あり、又同郡内瀧野という所里ちかき山家なり、近所山々菊多生す仙郷あり、 是も蓮誓坊也、

This particular reference was written by Jitsugō nearly 80 years after the events it describes, and was drawn together from a variety of sources and accounts given directly to the author. As such, its historical accuracy can be called into doubt on occasion. Nonetheless, it outlines the actions of Rensei of the Kōsenbō. He had been invited to Do yama Yamanaka within Tonami gun in the province of Etchū (a place founded by Wakamatsu Amake Zenni (stepmother of Rennyo). Zenni (Katsunyo) had asked for Rensei to join her at Doyama, yet the Monto of Enuma gun (the same gun within the last reference) had told him that it was a place deep within the mountains and shrouded in mist. After consulting Rennyo, Rensei decided to travel to a place known as Yamada, and there he founded the Kōsenbō (Rensei was later to have his younger brother Jitsugen travel to Doyama, which eventually grew into the temple of Shōkōji, now found in Takaoka city). However Kōsanbō was burnt down during the Daishō no ikki (or the disturbance of Kyōroku).

Rensei also founded another bō at Sugao within Enuma gun, at it is to this bō that the reknowned Ganshō arrived and made his vows. This is the same Ganshō (sometimes written as 願生) that was to lead 7,000 followers on behalf of Enuma gun during the latter disturbances (Ganshō has been regarded as being of dogō status, who then rose through the organization to become a general among the ikki. This is mentioned as such in the Kanchiron. Although the record states that this bō at Sugao burned down in the same year that Ganshō entered it, it went on to become quite famous. These latter bō (founded by Rensei) lasted throughout the Kyōroku disturbances, with a further bō established in Takino further into the mountains around Sugao.)
